Lawn:

The use of sulfur will help prevent ticks, fleas and ants, while organically improving the quality of your soil.

     Bermuda & St. Augustine:
Fertilize with LCV quick release fertilizer for a good green up.
Use a pre-emergent to prevent weeds.
Spread 1” of peat moss to St. Augustine if affected by take-all root rot.
St. Augustine sod can be planted now, also Bermuda sod and seed can be planted.
Increase water, to 2-3x per week.

Fertilize with a quick release fertilizer to maintain growth.
Watering increased to 3-4x per week.
Raise mower to 3.5-4 inches tall.
Trees and Plants:

Unwrap any palms that may have been wrapped over the winter.
Use Amaze in beds that have weed problems as a prevention.
Spray systemic fungicides on plants that are susceptible to powdery mildew. Ex. Euonymus
It is a great time for planting. Availability is at its peak.
Flowers:
It is planting season after danger of frost for flowering annuals and perennials.
     Plant summer flowering bulbs.
Prep any beds you will be planting with compost and fertilizer.
Garden:
Plant your tomatoes and peppers this month after danger of freeze.
Feed your garden monthly. Dried molasses does to beneficial microbes what sugar does to kids.
